Mitzy Perez is a community-driven leader passionate about providing a fresh start and positive change for Los Banos. Born in Mexico, Mitzy immigrated to California at six years old and quickly learned the transformative impact of dedicated educational support and resources. Overcoming language barriers, she excelled academically, becoming a proud first-generation college graduate and a naturalized U.S. citizen.

 

Mitzy's commitment to serving the community is grounded in personal experience, empathy, and proactive leadership. She champions thoughtful, managed city growth by partnering with developers and businesses to ensure essential infrastructure, such as schools, parks, and recreational spaces, are built alongside homes and commercial developments. Recognizing the critical role of education, Mitzy advocates strongly for enhanced school resources, specialized programs, and advanced classroom technology.

 

Mitzy understands the complexities of homelessness and believes in addressing the underlying issues through comprehensive mental health and addiction recovery services, job training programs, and supportive housing.
